Welcome to ANCIS Incorporated
ANCIS' forte is advanced indoor environmental and energy solutions for facilities in general and for mission-critical facilities in particular. Our roots can be traced to the legendary Bell Communications Research (Bellcore); we have extensive knowledge of telecom facilities, data centers, and computational research facilities. And, we understand computer modeling of complex building systems from the ground up. ANCIS is uniquely positioned to provide truly optimized solutions.

Products and Services Overview
Metrics: The Rack Cooling Index (RCI) ® is a best practice performance metric for quantifying the conformance with thermal data center guidelines such as ASHRAE and NEBS. The metric is widely referenced, including ASHRAE Datacom Series, ANSI/BICSI ® Data Center Standard, and The Green Grid ® Data Center Maturity Model. Leading Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) vendors are also using the metric. In addition, we have released the RCI Calculator v 2.3 software, which quickly calculates the RCI. For more, please see the RCI page.
Training: ANCIS is the Program Administrator and the lead Professional Training Organization (PTO) for the US Department of Energy's (DOE) Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) training program. The main objective of this certificate program is to raise the standards of those involved in energy assessments of data centers. For more information on the program, how to attend a training course, or for a complete list of recognized Data Center Energy Practitioners (DCEPs), please visit the DCEP page.
Design: We design customized HVAC and energy systems, including feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and standards development. ANCIS developed air-management and cooling solutions for the new Supercomputer Center at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and provided Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and analysis of the first U.S. pre-qualified LEED data center for Advanced Data Centers (ADC). We also provide environmental and energy audits and third-party design reviews as well as ensure standards and code compliance. Read More >>
